The Nomad Visa allows citizens of third countries to stay in Latvia for up to one year while working remotely. This visa is available to individuals employed by a company registered in an OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) member state or those who are self-employed in such a country, as long as they can carry out their work remotely.
The visa is initially granted for up to one year, with the possibility of applying for a renewal for another year. After the second visa expires, there is a mandatory 6-month cooling-off period before a new Nomad Visa can be requested.
